Job Title: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Work Location: East Tamaki, Auckland

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

Job Responsibilities:

·        Reading and understanding drawings, providing quotationsand estimates in a timely and accurate manner.

·        Detailing of reinforcing bar, mesh andaccessories from structural and architectural drawings.

·        Cost control by analysing labour, time andmaterial requirements.

·        Coordinate with client and colleagues andability to resolve any detailing and estimating issues.

·        Ensure client queries are answered effectively,promptly, and appropriately.

·        Negotiating and submitting monthly claims andvariations.

Skills & Experience:

·        General computer/excel/word/AutoCAD skills areessential

·        Understanding of construction, materials,pricing, and industry.

·        Able to analyse problems and strategize forbetter solutions.

·        Ability to work to tight deadlines

·        Previous experience in estimating would bepreferred
