Dental Assistant / Receptionist – Full Time, Epsom, Auckland

Modern dental clinic seeking a full time Dental Assistant / Receptionist. Full training will be provided and we will assist you to obtain a Certificate on Dental Assisting.

We are looking for a friendly self-motivated hard-working team-player with excellent oral and written English and communication skills. Good customer service skills essential.

You will need to be flexible with the hours as we have to look after emergency patients if need to.

Fluency in English and mandarin are advantageous.

Key responsibilities:
1. Assist the dentists for various procedures (Full training will be provided.)

2. Explain different procedure details to patients and answer their enquiries.

3. Sterilisation of instruments.

4. Welcoming patients as they come in, greet them with a smile and make them feel like home!

5. Answer patient's enquiry by phone, email and in-person.

6. Call and make appointments for our patients.

7. Other administrative tasks.

8. Buildup rapport with our patients.

Hours:

You will be working on a fortnightly roster with around 35 to 45 hours per week. Most days you will start from 8am and finish around 6pm, except Thursday starts from 9:30am and finish around 9pm.

You need to work on Saturday.

*No dental experience required. Full training and on-going education will be provided.
*You are expected to work for at least two years up.
*Start immediately.
