Playschool Education is a market leader in home based care and education. We have been operating in Auckland for 13 years and we more recently have expanded to operate in Wellington, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Canterbury, Bay of Plenty, Otago and Southland. Right now we are looking for an additional team member to join our team based in Auckland due to growth.
We are looking for a fun and motivated team member to take on an adult mentoring role within our company. Visits will be Auckland wide and our office based in Albany. However about 60 - 70% of your time you will be out on the road visiting families based around Auckland. You will also travel to Hamilton for visits 2 x days per month - you have a company car full time of course. We are offering 5 days per week (35-40 hours pw to suit you) and this is a permanent on-going role.
The role combines the opportunity to mentor adults, visit children in their home and includes a strong marketing aspect. We expect that you are actively promoting our services within the community and in social media so a confident person with an eye for growth is an huge advantage.
As a Programme Co Ordinator you will visit our Playschool Children and Educators within their homes and implement our established Education and Learning programme based on Te Whaariki. No visit is the same and you could be visiting a Nanny, an Au Pair and a lot of the time you will be visiting one of our caring Chinese grandparents looking after their wee grandchildren.
We have incredibly comprehensive systems for you to follow that we will teach the successful candidate all about at training. You will be well supported in your role by our Area Manager and working as part of a team of 18 fun and friendly woman and men. The perfect candidate for this role will be flexible, confident talking to strangers, HIGHLY ORGANISED and motivated. You MUST be either fully or provisionally registered and hold a Diploma or Degree in ECE Education. You MUST be fluent in Mandarin (or close to) along with a very good level of English for this position as you will be visiting Mandarin speaking grandparents as well as kiwi families too.
Full comprehensive training, phone and company car provided. Applications close on the 26th of July but we will be reviewing applications as we received them. The role can start at a time that suits the successful applicant and full training is provided.
