Assistant Accountant
Property Investment/Management Company & Registered Tax Agency, Auckland CBD
Job Description:
- Work closely with Director (MBA), CFO (CPA Aust., MBA), Finance Manager (CA)
- Report to Director, CFO, and Finance Manager for all Financial and Accounting activities
- Prepare monthly investors statements and monthly rental payments
- Capture all relevant revenue, expenses, and FF&E recharges in the lnvestor statement
- Prepare monthly management companies' P/L statements
- Council rates payments and Body Corp Levies deductions and payment to BCS
- Learn the Front Office Fidelio system and all IT applications
- Monitor tenant rentals, chargebacks (telephone, electricity), tenant security deposits/refunds
- Responsible for accounts Receivable (RTA Schools)
- Responsible for monthly payroll
- Preparation and filing of GST, PAYE, and Income tax for 50+companies
- PreparingInvoices and Filing Documents Assisting CFO and Director in legal, marketing, business management, and operations
Requirements:
- Recent accounting graduate - Company offers training
- Excellent communication skill
- English and Chinese speaking is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with using Xero
- Be organized, structured, disciplined, and willing to work hard
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
