AucklandBioSciences is a New Zealand owned company that supplies raw materials for usein the pharmaceutical industry.

We are constantly expanding our operations and creating new roles to keep upwith our fast growth.

We are currently looking for casual production assistants to join our teamin Klondyke, Hornby. The work hours will vary depending onthe business needs.

Aboutthis role

Klondyke, Hornby location
Casual position
$20 - $23/hour + 8% holiday pay depending on experience
Immediate start
No prior experience necessary
Ongoing training provided

Responsibilities

Handling animal by-products
Operating centrifuges and other laboratory equipment
General cleaning of the production rooms and support areas
Assisting with the storage, loading, and shipment
Assisting with record keeping requirements
Heavy lifting up to 20kg
Wrapping pallets

Requirements

Be eligible to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident or a valid work visa)
Be physically fit to heavy lift up to 20kg
Have own reliable transport & full or restricted driver licence
Be flexible to work varied hours (between the production hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm or later)
Have good English communication skills
Have an excellent attendance record
Have clean criminal record
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Be able to provide contact details of two character or employment referees
